I walk down the street in my small town and dream. I dream that the side walk is a runway, the neighbors that are putting out their garbage are the guest, and the nature is the beautiful set. I strut and think about the fashion dream that is Vogue Magazine. I opened my mail box and their it was. I saw Emma Stones' face on the cover. There it was...May 2014 issue of Vogue. You see normal people look at a magazine and only think of the price of an item. When I see an item I think of the beauty and art work. Vogue is not just a classic fashion magazine, but an art book.
The inspiration I get when I read about an editors life or learning about style has evolved is my life. I want my friends and strangers to understand this. Nothing will stay the same things will change, and learning about fashion hasn't just taught me about color, but taught me that change can hurt or change your life. Traveling, glamour, street style, runways, story's are my future, life, and dream. No matter what is happening do that thing that makes you happy. Live with no regrets and live with a unique style.
When you live in a small town it's hard to find the exact complicated style that makes you happy. Sometimes in this small little town you have to make things your own just to be noticed. As the warm weather starts to roll in expectations of a young stylist in training starts to blow up the mind. Most teenagers worry about what happens when their Uggs get wet. I worry about what designer I am saving up for.
Dresses. Dresses are not just something you roll into, or something only worn on that wedding or that funeral. A dress is something that deserves to be looked at. It deserves to have a story. You can wear jeans for ever season no matter how uncomfortable. Although when wearing a cute little sundress that can only truly be seen on a warm spring/summer day. A sundress tells people that you can be classy, sassy, and ready to do anything even when you don't feel so well. A sundress allows you to feel free and confidant and at the same time trying to get that summer tan. Let peoples mouths drop when they see you looking hot and ready to do anything in the warm weathers favorite uniform. The sundress.
If I'm not writing about fashion, then I'm writing about something that crosses my mind or something even out of the blue. One of the most popular movies of the year hasn't just inspired, but made me think more about who I am. Frozen had impeccable music and the cutest characters. Seeing the way Elsa would go to any length just to protect Anna. And no matter what Anna would go to any length just to make sure Elsa was okay. Along with their friendship seeing how sad Elsa was made me really get into my emotions.
The song Let It Go meant a little more than most people think. For instance when I first listened to the song I thought it was just about not letting little things get in the way. Just throw it over your shoulder and focus on the good things in life. Then just when I thought the film was good enough, it made me think slightly more. Maybe instead its about being true to yourself, no matter what unplanned crap comes your way. When you listen to the song before the movie it can be about anything you want, although when you listen to it with the movie your emotional side comes out to play.
No matter if your an Olsen twin, Anna and Elsa, or have siblings you can't break up a friendship that strong. And if you do they will always find each other in the end. And with that said if they can't find each other then its not the end.
Spring is here. This is exciting for people with birthdays and holidays, but can also be very frightning for a new style. Yes I always talk about how I love to change and change is really a good thing, but you can easily find old clothes and make them your new spring style.
To start off as simple as a jean jacket. A jean jacket is perfect for almost any season. To add color and make it a crafty DIY project you can add a plaid patch from an old plain button down. Be creative with it. Add a pop of plaid where ever is possible.
Along with that crafty idea old tee shirts can be just as fun. In my opinion I don't like tee shirts. I hate the way they feel and how they make my arms feel. Although I hate that I can't just throw one on like a normal person. A good way to enjoy a gross tee is cutting off the sleeves. You can pair your hand made sleevless tee with a pair of dark washed denim capris with holes in the denim. Added with an old pair of Converse. Converse are so much better when their not perfect. Although in my opinion everything is better when its not perfect. make somthing your own this beautiful spring. The weather is amazing and you can be a desiner too.
