Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  Being able to dress up and be someone/something for a whole day.  Being with friends and going to Halloween parties.  This year the special day is on a Friday. Woohoo! Although if you're like me you procrastinate on your costume till about a week before Halloween. So here are a few time crunch cleaver costumes for the holiday.

1) Making tee-shirts with your friends based off of social media sites.  All you need to do is get ironing paper and print out the logo of your choice social media.  Then you print out your username also on the ironing paper.  Once you have everything printed its time for placement.  Personally I put the logo on the front of the blank tee shirt and the username on the back.  Finally the hard part is done and its time to make fun designs with your blank shirt.  The shirt can be any color you desire although for mine I used black because its a good base and its nice to for matching.  Anyways back to the designs, you can cut the shirt into a muscle tee or a tank top.  However its okay to leave it normally. Don't be afraid to have fun! ( I will out up a picture of me and my friends with our tee shirts.)

2) Breakfast at Tiffinay's is one of my favorite movies that will never go out of style.  All you need to do to pull off Audrey Hepburn's amazing looks are just a few items.  First, a little black dress a simple elegant piece that can match a coat if it starts to get chilly.  After that you will need a tiara.  You can find many of these at Charming Charlies.  The modern princess.  To top off the whole look add a fun top knot or messy bun to keep it casual.  Have fun with this and be confidant.

3) Lastly is a rather simple option. Its so like simple taking candy from a baby.  In fact it is a baby. All you need for this simple look is a onesie and a pacifier.  Onesies are so nice to curl up in especially because if its cold near you this will keep you warm and cozy.  You can add a pacifier to this look although when your out and about talking it does tend to get it the way.  And top off this very causual look with piggy tails or a loose messy bun.

What ever you chose have fun, be confidant, and be different.  This is the time to be someone completely different.

How To Create an Ombre Lip

Its fun to try different ways to jazz up your lips every once in a while.  I was very bored this afternoon and what better to do then practice different make up looks? Now first its always good to use a lip primer you can purchase this from pretty much any brand.  Anyways first thing I used was Elf lipstick in the color Ravishing Rose. ( This product was in my September Favorites.) I spread that all over my lips.  If your nervous that your going to smudge or make a mistake you can use a lip brush to apply. After that I used my purple trio eye shadow pallet from Clinque and used the darkest purple. Using my Elf eye shadow brush I lightly brushed in the corners of my mouth, and the bottom of my lower lip.  This creates a vibrant, unique, sexy look,

A Fashion Dream Come True

I have almost had my blog for a year that's the most rewarding thing I have ever said, I am not the one to keep something for very long.  Fashion taught me that things change, but the things that stay classic were meant to be with you for a reason.  Fashion was my outlet for creativity and mistakes.  I don't know why I'm talking in past tense because it still is. Fashion is something that people know about me.  I feel my most comfortable in Nordstrom and on this blog.  If any of you want to do something crazy or different try fashion.  Even if its not for a long period of time don't be afraid to be loud and creative.  Try a blog, create an Instagram, take a trip to a high fashion store. To be honest I was scared to start this blog.  I thought it wouldn't work out and I would forget.  This ended up to be a dream come true.  I couldn't be more thankful.  I encourage you to try something new even if its scary.

Rimmel Products

Lately I have been wearing a lot more make up.  I know that life is more about personality although its always good to have a little something to enhance your beauty. Unfortunately make up is not the cheapest thing in the world so to get that refreshed look takes a little trial and error method.  Based on the title I have been loving Rimmel products.  I wrote about their concealer and BB cream, but I have added to my collection recently.  I bought my first eyebrow pencil in the color Hazel and love it.  Its perfect to give your eyebrows a more sharpened look without being too much.  Also it has a handy brush on the cap of the pencil to give the brow a more relaxed and natural look.  If you need a brand that is inexpensive and works like a charm I seriously recommend Rimmel.  I would also like to include I have not been payed to write this, I genuinely love there products quick, easy, affordable.

RIP Oscar

Oscar De La Renta was one of my greatest inspirations.  He influenced me in so many ways, ways that are almost impossible to write.  I remember the first Sex in the City I watched was when Carrie Bradshaw was astounded when the Russian called him Oscar.  He helped build the fashion industry into what it is today.  He built something that has become a multimillion dollar industry.  Im proud being part of fashion.  I can't take back the past, but I can build on the future.  As Oscar once said "fashion is a trend style is within a person." These are words that make me think and I hope I can be at least half the artist that he was.

Foundation or BB Cream

This afternoon I had a shopping trip with my very fashionable friend Holly. The first store we walked into was Ulta.  What I love about that place is they have mixtures of high end make up and drug store.  We walked around the store for about 20-30 minutes,  Unfortunately my skin is not the  healthiest.  I was searching for foundation although instead purchased Rimmel's BB cream.  After I bought it I tried it out.  And honestly I love it.  It feels light and not cakey on my skin.  It evens out your skin and helps it feel soft.   Definitely something that will go in my on-the-go make up bag.

3 Easy Ways to Jazz Up a Wall

Your room/house is a way to reflect who you are.  Much like fashion.  And I am excited to explore more into this different world of style.

1.) If your a fashionista like me then you love your fashion magazines, Vogue for instance.  You can easily rip out the front covers and put them in simple black frames.  Scatter around about three of those around your walls.  To add to that you can put up old family photos, Polaroids, and even a few of your favorite quotes.

2) Another great way to spice up your room is simply adding twinkly lights. Around the perimeter of the room and draping them around any shelves or desks you have around your room.  This is a great way to add sparkle and class to your room.

3) Lastly, to add some volume to your walls don't be afraid to add some fun shelves.  On top of these shelves but some quirky knick- knacks. The more it reflects your personality the better.  Don't be afraid to be creative and silly.

Comment what your favorite 1, 2, or 3.  Love you beauties,

Gossip Girl

Netflix is on my all time favorites list.  Recently I have gotten into Gossip Girl.  And honestly its great for those nights when you want to cuddle in your favorite old sweater.   The story takes place in upper east side New York.  Its about rich kids with cunning problems.  Although my favorite art is the fashion. Classic Chanel is a key competent to this show.  Also a quote was said that I can't get out of my head "I'm not a pit stop, I'm a destination." -Blair.  Even though the characters are extremely rich there is still a lot to learn.  Can't wait to watch the rest.
